Feature requests for Model X with most comments

 becoming almost standard for every new vehicle with cameras and so helpful when navigating in tight spaces : 360 degree surround-view as a virtually assembled picture of all cameras. 

It would be really nice to have native apps for playing music from Apple Music, Spotify, Google, Amazon, etc. Slacker really isn't the best

Please add a max speed function in addition to cruise control.

This makes driving in cities much more comfortable. With a Tesla you’re quite easy over speed limits...

You know how Google maps shows you alternate routes in gray with +/- time differential in typical app-view on your phone? I would love to see that in our nav view!

When letting off the accelerator quickly flash the brake lights to warn a driver following closely that you are slowing down. 

For those of us where bike lane splitting is legal, allow to set the AP to hug closer to left or right of the lane to make a larger clearing. This could be only for slow speeds in traffic. 

Currently I have to manually fold the mirrors every time I enter and exit the garage due to a tight fit. I wish it would auto fold when arriving and auto open the mirrors when leaving(Door closing).

Tesla needs to implement a feature that dynamically allows the setting of a temporary speed limit. A feature often found on European, but sadly almost never found on American cars.

It's weird that to turn off your headlights (say, at a storefront or a security booth), you can't just tap the headlight icon instead of navigating to a menu entry.

The preconditioning feature should be extended to non-Tesla CCS fast charging. A button to start battery preconditioning manually should be included. The user can activate precondtioning when approaching a non-Tesla CCS charger.

I know that transparent solar panels are in development. Putting some of them into the big glass roof would have three big benefits.

offer a 15’ extension cable to allow nose in SuperCharging.  When towing it can be a real pain to unhook a trailer so you can back in to charge.  Double the pain as one’s range is effectively cut in half when towing.

When driving in Autopilot, and the speed limit drops, it doesn't slow down until the car has passed the speed limit sign, and when it does, it does so abruptly.

So many times I have gotten into my car to have the heat start when it's only in the 60s outside, but soon to be 80. I would like to be able to set the thermostat like I would at home, Cool only or Heat only.

The warranty explicitly disallows anti rust treatments like Tectyl, Mercasol etc. In the Nordic countries such a treatment is needed to avoid excessive corrosion problems.

I charge mostly at work. Sometimes I need to charge fast, most times, not so fast. It would be good to have the ability to set and change the rate of charge the car will accept from the mobile app rather than having to set this from the MCU in the car

Would be nice to schedule or set a timer on the AC/Heat from the phone.  Then I don't burn unnecessary power and just have it turn on within a reasonable time before I get to the car.

Would LOVE the option to auto adjust Autopilot (Cruise control) speed to speed limit.

On many Public 3rd Party Chargers it would be more convenient to have an additional charge port on the Co-Driver side of the car.
