When using auto pilot, if the speed limit is say 50, the car will revert to that speed, which is great. However, if I approach a tight bend which cannot be taken at 50, the car will carry on regardless!
Before the UI update, we had a live compass on the map screen, but with the new UI, it is NO longer there.
Please bring back the compass
There needs to be an easy way to submit new feature requests (hardware and software) directly to Tesla through the mobile app. Maybe each user can submit up to 2 submissions per month to keep it controlled, etc.
Current maps in Israel are out of date,
and contain many errors.
Please update the maps.
Currently when you schedule a long trip, it will have to take or skip superchargers based on your ability to reach them, then suggest how long to charge. I probably accelerate more aggressively than most, but that 10% charge at arrival often turns into 2% instead.

So we got waypoints now. That's awesome. Just one more thing now. Let us save some of these trips. Not locations, but the trips themselves.
When entering a navigation destination when the audio screen is taking half the screen, the navigation window with turn by turn directions is shown but the most important part including miles, minutes and ETA to destination are hidden and requires you to flick the audio tray down to see it.
I had a very odd experience that I think can be improved on. I was about 300 miles from my destination when u reached a supercharger.
By default it wanted me to charge up to 50% and routed me to the next charger about 40 miles away - as my last charge before my destination.
When one visits “Go Anywhere” (https://www.tesla.com/trips) on a browser, there’s no option to select a standard range model Y. It shows just the long range & Performance options. Thanks.
In Switzerland, as of this year, you have to form an emergency lane when there is a traffic jam on the highway. It would be great if Autopilot would stick to that rule.
Allow the vehicle to intelligently respond to weather events. Some examples:
I like my car predicting my targets, but while commuting I rely on my "brain-based autopilot" and I need verbal advice only if something is out of line.
If we plan a trip where we might not be able to charge at the destination, we want to arrive with a certain state of charge. Would be helpful to adjust the desired soc at destination within the navigation system.
You can save your work address for fast selection when using the navigation system. It would be great to save different addresses for each signed in user
It would be useful to tell my car I do not want to stop at the suggested supercharger, but select the next along the route and preheat battery accordingly.
Currently, if I skip the suggested supercharger, it skips charging totally and doesn't preheat battery when I want it to...
1) Tesla map databases lag behind Google Maps - so I'd like to use Google maps using CarPlay
2) Bluetooth activation of Siri is slow and often doesn't work, and it works fine on any car with CarPlay
Driver keeps undisturbed access to main screen (e.g. for navigation, cameras, etc.) while co-driver or rear passenger is selecting music or changing temperature.
If I want to navigate to a friend, I have to open the address book, locate the contact and then I'm able to start navigation. It would be great to just type a contact name in the Navigation search bar directly (as if it's an location)
Since last update my car can recognize speed-limit-signs, which makes driving better than before, but new problems are showing up:
(1) car cannot distinguish between the end of a speed-limit or the end of other restrictions (forbidden to overtake, end of parking-zone, ...)
This would bring a lot of additional apps to the big screen without implementation effort for Tesla. Video streaming, incoming messages other than SMS (Threema, wire, Telegram,...), video conferencing, city parking guide, airport/station arrival/departure times in realtime, office apps, ...
every time, we reach this location, do ... activate sentry mode / ... show special camera view / ... open garage / ... switch off high beam / ... close external air ventilation / ... activate Joe mode / ... change radio channel / ... open charging flap / ... activate chill driving mode / ...
Would love to have a App Store in the console and or the mobile app to push apps to install to the car. Would open a whole new market for developers. Missing apps today Waze, a full version of Spotify, Evernote etc.
My kids is about to start practicing driving. And I great feature would be a mode in the car for that purpose. The car is more helping and supporting. Explaining. Little bit educational teacher supporting the newbie driver and the parent.
The same way on a tesla web and some other 3rd apps we can see or select the link for a supercharger and see the restaurants and amenities on an specific charger the tesla navigation system should have a (+) or drop down menu with that information.
