360 degree surround view
becoming almost standard for every new vehicle with cameras and so helpful when navigating in tight spaces : 360 degree surround-view as a virtually assembled picture of all cameras.

You know how Google maps shows you alternate routes in gray with +/- time differential in typical app-view on your phone? I would love to see that in our nav view!
It would be really nice to have native apps for playing music from Apple Music, Spotify, Google, Amazon, etc. Slacker really isn't the best
It would be awesome for road trips to be able to see an overlay of the current radar on the map so that if there was a big storm ahead, you could plan accordingly.
I can't tell you how many times my wife has gotten in the car after my kids have adjusted the passenger seat and she has to fix the seat back to how she likes it. Another profile button for passengers to save settings would be great.
In the Model 3, you can currently set a START TIME for charging. It would be nice to be able to add a STOP TIME as well, to prevent your car from charging when electricity rates may be higher. Also build this charge scheduling feature into the app.
More details:
Model 3 clearly detects if passengers are present in the vehicle (mostly for seat belt warnings) -- if no passengers are detected, seat warmers should default to OFF, instead of previous setting.
Would be nice to schedule or set a timer on the AC/Heat from the phone. Then I don't burn unnecessary power and just have it turn on within a reasonable time before I get to the car.
For those of us where bike lane splitting is legal, allow to set the AP to hug closer to left or right of the lane to make a larger clearing. This could be only for slow speeds in traffic.
I would like to see range and % charge remaining on the display. It wouldn't take much more real estate and could be useful. Ish.
When driving in Autopilot, and the speed limit drops, it doesn't slow down until the car has passed the speed limit sign, and when it does, it does so abruptly.
When a sentry event occurs, the car would open live streaming to the mobile app and user would be able to watch in real time what is going on with the car.
while blind spot detection is much better in 9.0. It still lags most other cars. Add an audible alert and change the color of cars in your blind spot red so one can see in the corner of your eye. A mid grey car on a light grey background does not cut it.
This is a feature that should be simple to add. It's very helpful when travelling through mountains, and it's generally interesting to know the elevation, just as it is to know the external temperature and time. Maybe it could be inserted near these elements.
Over the Key Fob or the app. (This feature my 2003 Skoda was able to do, why not Tesla ...)
Tesla app should give full report on windows or door status.
It happened a few times that we came back to the car and found out that windows were not completely closed.
Additional: feature on app to close windows with audiable alert for safety reason
Watch dash cam and sentry mode videos directly in the Tesla Mobile App and on www.tesla.com
When you plan a long trip the navigation system adds stops for charging at supercharger locations but I would like to add additional stops (waypoints) to the trip and still see the whole trip.
Almost every premium sedan on the market with a rear camera and ultrasonic sensors has this feature by now. The Model 3 has all the necessary hardware already installed. RCA can safe lifes and thousands of Dollars/Francs/Euros in cash. Thank you, Elon.
It would be great if this could be done with the controls on the steering wheel. So far all I’ve been able to do is mute calls.
So many times I have gotten into my car to have the heat start when it's only in the 60s outside, but soon to be 80. I would like to be able to set the thermostat like I would at home, Cool only or Heat only.
